I always say animals deserve more respect.   They are more aware than people realize.   He's a beautiful bird.

My siamese cat woke me up in the middle of the night.  She was screaming in my face.  My daughter had stopped breathing.  She would have died from crib death.  My daughter is now 58 years old!  I am so grateful now that I didn’t listen to my family when they warned me not to let the cat sleep with my daughter.  The cat always slept next to her, not on her.  And she always stayed with my daughter throughout the day.  Best nanny ever!!!

He probably knew something was wrong before the family knew

A friend of my mom’s was a diabetic that owned horses and one day the horse sensed that she had low blood sugar and took her back to the house.

Many an animal has diagnosed a condition in family. We owe them quite a bit at times.

I had a cockatiel who never went into the kitchen.  I had fallen asleep in the middle of the day, very unusual.  I woke up to hear her screaming. I found her on the kitchen counter next to a pot of potatoes that were boiling. She may not have saved the house, but she surely saved the glass top stove!
Also one time when she was younger, she lived on a perch in my bedroom.  One night she came screaming over to me. I asked what her problem was and seconds later and then the earthquake came!  Not major, but strong and rolling.

A lady posted that she had a tomcat that liked to sit on the armrest of her easy chair while she read the morning paper. One day he began sniffing her lower right arm.  Then he growled and started scratching one spot on her arm hissing, meowing and finally biting that spot. After 3 days she went to see her doctor.  He found a small cancer in the early stages. Her tomcat had been trying to scratch and bite it out of her.

Animals know things & when a alarm is given by them watch & leason & act.

My grandsons chihuahua cured a staf infection I had on both my lower legs for over four years. Most of it improved but one ulcer would keep festering up with an insane itch to it.Every time I sat she would find the sore, lick it and scrape it out with her teeth, this helped ease the itching.A vet told me dogs had an enzyme in their saliva that aids healing,it’s why they lick their own wounds. After a few weeks of doctoring my leg the ulcer started to heal, now it’s gone but she still sniffs my legs all over, especially where the ulcer was.She still monitors me when I visit, happily checking then laying at my feet relaxed. She is old now and I will never forget the miracle healer with four legs❤Thank you Bobbi❤

My Maltapoo saved my life.  He knew I had pleurisy 2014 before it showed any signs of… we had our baby for just over 18 years with us

I had a little terrier/shibu inu mix who would come and get me when another, less brainy dog was doing something stupid/dangerous. I currently have a cat that will “babysit” my 1 yr old cat when outside. When the young cat gets out accidentally, I grab Izzy the Wise, put him outside and point to the youngster. He runs to him and stays with him, he lets me know if young guy runs off, then shows me where he is! Best babysitter ever! He charges 7 Temptations/hr.

Our pets are family too, watching when no one else is.

its not at all unusual for family pets to become protective of  young children.   They recognize  a vulnerable "cub" and  their instincts act to protect  it.

This really makes me miss my Parrot . She was very loving and sweet. And animals do sense things way before humans. That's how they survive in the wild.

Whenever I cry about something, each of my 4 pets will come to comfort me. I don't cry very often, so they know something is wrong when I do.

My Great Dane, Sally, was by my side her whole life…and she caught my diabetes before the doctors did.  At least twice a day, she’d check my breath…I swear, she could tell when my sugar was too high.  I miss her so much.

I immediately thought the parrot detected an illness, just like dogs do.  I think MANY animals can do this!

I disagree with the territorial things. The bird was watching the baby for a reason.  I knew that before the mom noticed the breathing problem.

Us humans really do need to take more notice of Animals natural instinct especially where Health is concerned !!  🇬🇧

A social bird loyal to his flock.
