"How bad is 40k? It's so bad that there's a god of hope, and the god of hope is evil."

My favourite piece with Tzeentch is still that time he lost at a children´s card game to a wayward member of the custodes.

Someone described seeing Tzeentch to me as: “if you see a guy who says he saw tzeentch and tries to describe something, he’s a liar. If you see a guy frothing at the mouth who clawed his own eye out and is now saying something that sounds like they could be trying to say Tzeentch but their too busy making guttural noises and hiding from water on an ocean planet? That guy MIGHT have seen Tzeentch out of the corner of his eye.”

"Magnus the Red was the nerd-nerd, Lorgar was the bible studying nerd" And obviously Perturabo was the third kind of nerd. Stares directly into the camera

The Tzeentch video does not arrive late to the other chaos gods. He arrives at exactly the time he planned it to be.

Shy's face slowly changing into a different expression, the little whispers and shadows across the screen... gotta love the subtle things added to this episode!

Since tzeench is ever changing, they could be canonically a 12 feet tall cat girl

couple tidbits i'd like to add because tzeentch is amazing:
Those flamers of tzeentch? Their flames don't always burn. Their flames have built in RNG that can cause someone to smell sweet, get covered in wine, burn away their soul and not their flesh or make them immune to all fire. In a similar vein there is the Mutalith Vortex Beast, a massive daemon that has a giant rift into the warp open on it's back that radiates magical effects. It can cause people to turn inside out, vaporize an enemy, give healing properties to anyone near it or give a random nearby person the exact power necessary to kill a Mutalith Vortex Beast. The self-defeating randomness of Tzeentch is my favorite part of his lore.

According to Jungian psychology, there is the concept of the animus and the anima, as well as the inner child it's safe to say, that yes, there is just a little guy within us all.

Lots of folks posting favourite Tzeentch quotes, so here's mine.

"I'll never serve your cause", said Dathan, "Never. I will always betray you because I am a man, and Mankind is all that stands in the way of things like you and the ultimate annihilation of everything."

"Nothing stands in the way of the ultimate annihilation of everything," Tzeentch said. "In the end, everything possessed of life returns to air, and ash, and dust. Everything possessed of energy returns to lifelessness. All that matters is how things burn - not how quickly, but how . I need enemies, Dathan, more than I need allies. There is nothing quite so precious to me as a traitor."

You didn't talk about the blue scribes :( one of the funniest duos in 40k, two brothers with access to the most powerful magic in existence, but one of them can write magic but can't understand his own writing, and the other can read spells but can't understand them so they go around the battlefield randomly throwing insanely powerful spells

I'm disappointed bricky didn't use the best quote for Ghargatuloth:
'You just had to look around you, Grey Knight, and you'd have seen it. What is Chaos? Suffering, you might say. Oppression. Deceit. But could not all these things be said of your Imperium? You hunt down the talented and the strong-willed. You break them or sacrifice them. You lie to your citizens and wage war on those who dare speak out. The inquisitors you call masters assume guilt and execute millions on a whim. And why? Why do you do this?
Because you know Chaos is there but you do not know how to fight it, so you crush your own citizens for fear that they might aid the Enemy. The Imperium suffers because of Chaos. No matter how hard you fight, that will never change. Chaos exists in a state of permanent victory over you - you dance to our tune, mortal one, you butcher and torture and repress one another because the gods of the warp require you to. The Imperium is founded on Chaos. My lord Tzeentch won your war a long, long time ago.'

Fun fact: a little girl and her black dog went into tzeentch’s maze

Solved every puzzle and avoided all the daemons and traps

And even he was baffled at what happened

Some theories say that due to her innocence and ignorance of the world she was able to escape

One of the wildest things about Tzeentch is the fact that he also represents hope... he literally is behind your ear when you want things to be better.
In the Ahriman trilogy Tzeentch tells him that he is his favorite human, and his favorite servant, because despite betraying the imperium, despite ruining the golden throne and dooming the human webway, and then literally betraying his genefather Magnus, and using a spell that turned so many of his loyal soldiers into dust slaves....
AHRIMAN STILL HAVES HOPE! he still hopes and plans and schemes homehow hoping that next time...the next thing will work out...somehow he will fix the spell, he will be accepted by Magnus again, he will stop the Thousand Sons' mutations, all will be perfect! Ahriman is mad enough to think there is a way out of this hell, he still hopes he can fix this shit...

I think Cleveland works better as Nurgle's realm, Tzeentch's is supposed to be a place of hope

I find it funny that Shy, sovereign of sh*tposts, is scared of the Tzeenchian coruptions

“You would ask Tzeentch a question, and that question leads to three more questions, and those questions lead to the heat death of the universe, which provides four answers to those questions. Then he thinks to himself “What are questions really, and are you even asking the questions? Or are you simply giving paths to answers”
(Bricky, warhammer 40k factions part 2)
-Congratulations you now know everything you need to about tzeentch and at the same time you know nothing. Or Mabye you know particular information about him? Coke to think about what is information, is it simply facts form different points of veiw or is nothing said set in stone! We shall see.(just as planned)

I think it's hilarious how often DK's first gut instinct on the quote is always so much closer to the mark than the answer he ends with.

I'm really sad the Bricky didn't talk about the Lost Human girl and her pet dog that navigates the impossible fortress 1st try. Tzeench and Fateweiver where both like "WHAAAT?"

I imagine Tzeentch looks like one of those AI generated photos that make you think you know what you're looking at but you can't make anything out
