The line “this is not my sandwich” came about because the actor actually said it during a lunch break before the afternoon filming.
It took the entire afternoon to shoot the scene because he couldn’t keep a straight face when Catherine unexpectedly threw the line in as improv.

As a Hungarian, I feel personally attacked and singled out for not being made fun of!

Btw, her rationale for being able to translate into seven different languages being that she did a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) in her gap year is imperviable logic.
