HAZE went from Halo Killer to "that ps3 avatar"

I'll never forget that unofficial playstation magazine gave Haze a perfect 10 and declared Halo dead 😂

Crysis wasn’t a “Halo killer", it’s its own thing.

The ultimate "Halo Killer" ended up being Microsoft and 343i (now Halo Studios)

Nobody called CRYSIS a "Halo Killer" back then. Crysis set graphics cards on fire but i never heard anybody comparing it to Halo.

The sad part is most if not all of these games didn't start out as "halo killers", it's just marketing pushing that, or even just sensationalist magazines pushing headlines. Especially Killzone, which was a constant victim of marketing.

Resistance 1 and 2 were such good times. Co-op was excellent. Only the enemies were like bullet sponges

Crysis was it's own thing, I don't think it ever wanted to be Halo

CRYSIS 2 HOWEVER

60 person multiplayer in Resistance 2 was unheard of at the time , shit was so fun

To be fair to Haze, the playing dead mechanic had an in universe explanation. The drug those dudes were doping with is supposed to hide the dead bodies from their view while they’re juiced. Since, you as the character know about it then you’re able to use it to your advantage and for example flank them as they go past you

Killzone and Resistance need a revival

I now want a killzone retrospective and a killzone collection

The real Halo killer is 343 Industries

I miss Killzone and Resistance. Too bad Sony only cares about "cinematic experiences" and ARPGs nowadays

The thing about Lugers SMG is that full auto is unsilenced but pressing alt fire on it fires single, silenced shots and they basically one hit unaware enemies with pin point accuracy and completely disregard distance to the point where you can stealth kill every enemy from afar in certain missions

Fun fact: The Church of England got mad at Resistance: Fall of Man for using a level that recreated Manchester Cathedral in a violent video game.

Man, Resistance needs a Remaster.

Playing Killzone 2 and 3 Multiplayer for free was the best. What a power trip.

11:48 Killzone 2 requiring the official Sixaxis controller for some in game actions was a shit move.
