Next week, we explore the inside of HMP Pentonville.

I use to work here back in the 90’s. Great to see inside again and so sad to see the damage. The statues on the stairs are all Greek and roman gods. The stained glass windows are saints, these windows the stair case and chimneys are all from the old house that burnt down in 1843. I set up the wine cellar you were in when I worked there and the big copper bins were used for logs for the fire place in the main hall. The room M14 was the bridal suite and the corridor to M2 where you were caught is meant to be haunted. Could tell you so much about the history etc. great to see it again

Omg that was over kill with the amount of police.

There`s never a copper around when you need one, yet when you don`t expect one they turn up.

Lesson learned, when alarm goes off you only have 2 1/2 hours to get away.

Love it when the Police see sense and know there’s no real crime committed, well done Police

Last time I saw police presence like that was when 2 people sat 1.9 metres apart on a bench and had a coffee

24:10 them glass windows each one is hand made! Absolutely Beautiful and captures the history of the building! An old art in stained glass making done by hand!! Amazing! This is what you don’t want vandals finding!! 😢

should be open to the public to show all the great items there and bring some money in to restore

Police didn’t bother going to Hatton Garden when the alarm went off, I’d say unlucky but I think you got half the force subscribed now.

The sculpture at top of the stairs is Saturn devouring his son Rubens 😃

Its sad to know that a building like that with such complicated roof structure will probably never be repaired but will be slowly gutted of its interior fixtures carvings and panelling  which will end up in auction houses or  similar and the house will just decay to  a ruin. But at least those pieces will live on somewhere else. Thank goodness its not been vandalised or graffitied. Great Video i would love to have known the history of the place but i will do my research privately.. Cheers.

All credit to the boys in blue, outstanding use of discretion.
👍😎👍MDS

Nice one boys loved what we were able to see before you got caught thats one to remember.

A dozen coppers, some armed, a dog and god knows what else. For a civil trespass in an abandoned building? Really? If you get burgled now in the U.K. the police send you a DIY finger print and investigation set, sent in the post - three months after the event (if your lucky) and a leaflet or email telling you the police are Trans friendly and tolerant and then goes on to encourage you to make your own enquiries and canvas the local area for cctv footage of your own robbery and violation. The after care / follow up for your burglary, robbery, or home invasion, is a Christmas card in 94 languages. They don’t respond even if you are in fear of your life. They don’t want to know. So why all this?
It’s tragic.

Legally he could prove roadside that he didn’t break and enter, he could show his channel, his subscriptions and the topic he’s interested in on his phone. Explain in full what happened previously when more intelligent officers had detained him, and explain to the old bill that a listed building doesn’t by virtue of being listed, elicit an automatic police response of half the county force night shift. De arrest roadside, exchange pleasantries, and magic 🪄 your on your way. Legal sensible and practical. Less paperwork too.
This is a joke of an overreaction.
Great video, great channel, and always showing total respect for people’s personal property.
Respect ✊

There is an easier way to explore old Manor Houses. It's called National Trust Membership. I've not been arrested doing that yet... Great videos though!

Wtf omg that must have been so scary that cop was so nice guess their just doing their job ✨☘️

That was a scary experience and how were you to know it was an unused MOD building?  You wonder why buildings fall into disrepair but maintenance costs on these old buildings is why.  In the case of this one it was probably a vanity building used for social purposes by one of the armed services.  They can no longer afford to run it within MOD budget, and although it could be put on the market, who'd want to take it on as a commercial venture?  It's very difficult to make enough money to cover maintenance costs, never mind make profit.  And were you serious when you suggested that the stained glass windows might be former owners?  Those were saints lads, and even the names of those saints were there.   The Greek god who ate children?  That was Saturn, who learned from a prophecy that he would be overthrown by one of his sons.  So he ate them all but one, and that one was Zeus!  Greek mythology is really interesting.  Well I'm glad you didn't get thrown in jail and that you knew and could prove that you only committed trespass!  At that point the arresting officer sounded much less sure of himself!  A really interesting explore, but if there's a lesson to be learned it's not to be cavalier about alarm systems.  Get out.... fast!

Nice to see that the police do protect buildings like this to stop people going in and wrecking the place or robbing the place i know you wasn't but some people do so its a good thing they did come it will stop people going there who are up to no good thanks for the video 💫👍

Those chimney stacks were awesome.
