Great Walk around video <3
Sweden bought 26. 2 Prototypes, 6 Mark 1 and 18 Mark 2. Known as Amfibiebil 101 A, B and C.
Solid tailgate - was requested by Sweden, supplied from factory with a short ladder, to help people climb in the back when in water.
Tyres - Track grip was Alvis' standard tyre for all FV600 range. British Army changed from Track grip to Bar grip around 1965 because the rocky tracks in Aden destroyed the stiff sided Track grip tyres.
Top marker lights - PV4 and 5 had full navigation lights fitted by Alvis. Mk1 and Mk2 had 2nd set of Lucas side lights fitted at top so that they could be seen in the water.
Hatch rest - This is the "Air deflector board", that was installed to prevent wind blowing into the open cab hatch. It was designed before the foreword opening hatches were designed. It just happened to be convenient for the hatches to rest on it.
If you look at the Hour gauge and the millage, it is low use, not just low millage. Kustartilleri (KA) were not full time units, and some Stalwarts were used every 5 years. 5 KA units, taking it in turn to exercise, one KA a year. Not every Stalwart left the shed.
Swedish dash - has additional gauges. Lighting switch attached to right side is equivalent to British Convoy light, which turns off brake lights, etc.
You didn't mention model is FV 622 S. S for Swedish version.
Second photo shows Flytsläpvagn 803 - Kustartilleri Floating trailer, carrying a Bofors 7.5cm 1965 gun.
Swimboard - Water deflector board should have two locking pins chained to the frame, to lock it in open and closed position.
Markerboards - Left one, not sure - 2nd left, unit badge - right one and rear one - square white reflector, to stop other vehicles driving in to them in the dark.
FOCO cranes fitted by Kustartilleri around 1974.
Fuel tank drain plug behind cover plate on Hull plate.
Single tailpipe from Silencer is probably original Silencer from 1967. British changed to twin Spark arrestors early 70s.
One cage in Louvers area is for Snow chains. They also carried 3 man dingy in CES.
Hope that helps.
Looking forward to the next video :)
