Toll road has been there for years. Takes you to a lighthouse, there's a cafe there also. Used to be much more expensive. Apparently its private land so they can charge.
Beaumaris is beautiful but the parking is a nightmare.
Puffins only nest for a small window so if you head up to see them, check online.
South Stack is open to visit but you buy tickets from the shop at the busy car park. You can actually go up the lighthouse or at least you could a couple of years ago.

I used to bunk off school on church Island, I used to sit at the top of mound it was great. I learnt how to canoe on those straights as well primary school, I'm sure they were trying to do away with us! My mum worked at the museum of childhood in Beaumaris, I've also walked the causeway wall. You can probably work out I grew up on Anglesey.

That toll road is owned by the English landowner - the Bulkeley family. It’s a shame because the road goes to Penmon.Very scenic and next to Ynys Seiriol where monks used to live. Just to Iet you know though, the place the Romans apparently cr ossed the Straits to attack the Britons was a few miles further down the Straits in Felinheli.
