Note: The speed limit on gravel roads is 80km/h and not 70km/h as shown in the video. I apologize for the mistake.

This is probably one of the best Iceland guide on you tube.

This is a piece of art, a video made with deep respect for life and nature. Amazing images. Sincere compliments, please don't stop sharing your travel experiences.

I'm so impressed by the quality of the video. It must have been a huge work to film, edit and post-process the entire trip. Not to mention the incredible extensive travel guide with detailed information. You should definitively be sponsored for your effort. Please keep posting such astonishing contents, they really are a joy for the sight!

Icelander here. Thank you for mentioning the prohibited things such as off-roading since it is a big problem here. We have a unique country, but every time someone drives of the beaten path it reduces the value of our experience while traveling; tourist or native.
Again, thank you.
Fantastic video and I will be sharing this on FB with Icelandic travel groups. This is a must see!

My wife and I were in Iceland 16 days last year (Sept - Oct, 2019). We were in Reykjavik seven days and drove to areas east and west of the city the other nine. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the trip, and I look forward to returning in a few years to travel the entire Ring Road. I would like to schedule up to four weeks for that trip, just to hang out/explore for several days at places along the road. I have been to a great many countries, and Iceland ranks very near the top of my list of places I have visited.

Calming and very informative, just the right speed and tone and no obnoxious EDM Lofi music. This is exactly the kind of travel video i want to see

I was stationed at a remote, NATO/ USAF radar site at Hofn, on the southeastern tip of Iceland in the late 70's. It changed my life...good to see this.

I'm Icelandic and I've travelled a lot around my country, but you actually showed me places that I've not even heard about. Thanks :)

I loved the way you narrated the entire experience with your calming voice, and the beautiful background music perfectly matched the surreal views and landscapes.

I live in Iceland and I can vouch for the info in this video. I would like to add two important things... Everyone drinks the tap water in Iceland. :) Alcohol is sold in ÁTVR stores and bars, the "beer" sold in grocery stores is non-alcoholic.

Damnn, a 30 minute documentary / extensive travel guide. Thank you for the high quality content!

What a great travel guide Allan! I visited Iceland back in 2016 and I practically took the same path you did along the Ring Road. The East Coast is totally underrated and the Westfjords is a must see. Thank you for bringing back those memories and in a soothing and calm way because that's exactly how I felt when I was there too.

@RicaSiggi 6 years ago

Iceland is one of the most amazing country I've ever visited in my life
