funny enough, I was just saying the other day that Gi nattak should not be trusted because of FF7's theme on unreliable narrators and the fact that he now narrates the series

This is the wildest and greatest take for anticipating part 3 I've ever seen. Especially the Jenova and Gi connections. Im only 32 minutes in and can confidently say that.

Really fascinating and entertaining video! I just watched all 57 minutes, and I enjoyed every second. I remember when you used to do "blindfolded" challenge runs. Those challenges were great, but making videos analyzing the FF7 story is definitely what you were meant to do. You're so skilled at editing and producing these long-form videos!

another thing to support that time doesn’t exist where zacks at is that the clocks don’t have hands in aeriths home

ff7 analysis/theory videos just hit different, think that you may have heard everything and then there's even more to unpack, especially loved the connection that nanaki may have been neglected a bit by design, him being eerily similar to yuffie who are both the teenagers of the group (and another one, but let's not mention that yet) yet yuffie has a dlc with temendous character development/exploration and wutai is going to be this huge extended world in revelation and then there's nanaki, the voice change that could be implied by og due to his age and changed dialogue style, him being sidelined, even with his seto scene being cut short by gi nattak, but I think that he will have a big role in revelation as you said, and maybe they aren't going to advertise it to allude to people that only yuffie's story is expanded, who knows

Yes learning lore of Gi made questions
How was thier planet subsumed?
Who killed the Gi tribe?

I absolutely loved every second of this video. Thank you very much for sharing all that insight. I will love having you here when last part arrives.

Question: Could Tifa be the third FFVII representative in Smash? Although she has appeared in SF6, Tifa remains one of the most popular FF characters and is highly requested by the Smash community.

And Great video

I really love how you weave humor with really thought provoking ideas and lore, not just in this video but all of your lore videos. I think out of everyone out there, your theories and observations are the most spot on, and I can't help but wonder if the devs watch your videos and are happy someone sees the connections. Very masterfully made, thank you for your videos!

Many don't realize the temple trials are the Cetra's version of propaganda, so seeing you touch on the cyclical parallels with Shinra/Cetra and Loveless was very satisfying.

Great job! This was a fun video that really got the wheels turning in my head 😂 always enjoy the humor you inject into your videos. Looking forward to more videos! 👏

6:34 FFXIV's dialogue also uses "star" to describe theirs and other planets, so this seems like a broad localization choice between SE's different studios.

Even if the morrow is barren of promises, nothing shall forestall st4wik's return - Genesis (Probably)

Also, maybe the key tribe isn't speaking about final fantasy, sevens world, maybe they're talking about their own world and the celestial threat was the world of final fantasy, seven. That subsumed their world

I really like most of your videos, but this has been the best so far.

Yessssssssss been waiting for this dude drop a new video. W Sunday!

I think it's crazy how you mentioned mirroring, and then BltzZ mentioned it in his stream a couple days ago. I really think you're on to something, especially with the Promised Land/Loveless and Aerith sending Cloud back ideas. Your videos are always a treat!

Loved all of this! ❤

I thoroughly enjoyed this video.

Regarding a potential time loop; there has always been some implication that the lifestream somehow has memories(?) of the past and potentially the future. It was somewhat left open for debate in OG whether or not Aerith knew her fate the moment she left the party after the Temple of the Ancients. And in On The Way to a Smile: Case of Nanaki, we see him unknowingly get an incomplete picture of his future flash forward scene near Midgar's ruins. The implication being that somehow those with a stronger connection to the lifestream can access these memories. Obviously during Remake, we see these characters at times knowing way more than they should, along with Cloud getting glimpses of the future. The planet being stuck in a time loop would be one way to describe how this is even possible.

With Nanaki/Seto, we have never actually seen a living, older, member of their species(outside of the flash forward). It makes me wonder how much of a gap there is between their species and the Cetra's ability to commune with the planet. Before Crisis introduces a bare bone idea that their tribe partakes in some kind of ritual to "appease" the planet once every 50 years. This is definitely grasping at straws, but that timeline would have made the last one happen only years before Nanaki was born. I wonder if Seto saw something that ultimately led to him betraying his deal with the Gi.

Also they have been setting up Nanaki (and obviously Cloud) to be at odds with "destiny" in both Remake/Rebirth. One interesting note is that of all the voice lines to choose from, for Cloud's character on the SE official Rebirth site, the quote they chose to highlight is the one from Nanaki's Gold Saucer date “There's no point in wasting our time worrying about fate if we can't change it.”

The irony of the Gi's desire is that if the planet truly perceives them to be a threat, then canonically Holy would wipe them out, granting them their wish. I do think they are being set up to be victims in a way and that somehow the Cetra have a role to play in them being unable to pass into the life stream. That somehow whatever was done during the Cetra's conflict with the Gi and/or Jenova broke things, which we are seeing in some of these stamp worlds.

Whatever they are cooking, Cloud's first line in the Revelation trailer only makes sense if applied to whatever this deeper conflict happening with the planet is.

great content ty for your hard work making it
