Clear Eyes Full Hearts Cant Lose

As someone that lives in your area, it brings me joy watching you try out local spots and seeing your youtube channel continue to grow. You're the fucking man, Schratz.

have we entered the DMs/Pull up series 🤔 im here for it

Hey! I’m Lebanese and wanted to clarify a few things from your video:
• Falafel: We poke a hole in the middle (usually with a stick) to help it cook evenly and get crispier.
• Garlic Sauce: Restaurants often go light on garlic, similar to how spicy dishes are toned down to appeal to a wider audience.
• Muhammara: Like hummus, it’s eaten with bread or as a dip, and it’s usually not spicy when ordered in restaurants.
• Kibbeh: The outside is a mix of ground beef and bulgur, while the inside is spiced ground beef (similar to kofta, which includes parsley/cilantro).
• Mashawi (grilled meats): Traditionally, we don’t serve it with rice. Beef is eaten with hummus, chicken (tawook) with toum (garlic sauce), and sides often include pickled veggies like beets, sumac onions, and pickles.

Hope this helps! Happy to see you’ve enjoyed Lebanese food :)

✨You Be PUSHING The Vids Out King!!! Salute!✨

I have a love/hate relationship with these local business reviews. First off, great video and great review. I love how you articulate what you like and what you think could be improved on. What I hate is that it looks so good, and I will never be able to try it since it's so far away. That's the only downside. Great video as always! Thanks dude!

I've been watching a lot of your videos, however I haven't subscribed nor have I commented until now, I'm subscribing, I appreciate how real you keep everything.

Much respect for your integrity to keep things on the up & up

Hey man, Palestinian American here - the indentation in the middle of falafel is to help it retain its shape, specifically how thick it is. If this isn’t done, then you get the other style of falafel where it is almost like a ball. The falafel puff up when dropped in the fryer, so it functionally is the same as putting an indent in the middle of a burger before throwing it on the grill (so it doesn’t turn into a meatball by reducing in diameter from the heat)

King what you said at 8:39 is wild🤣

You can tell when you like something you get this grin on your face in your eyes twinkle love it

FYI bro - the pits on the bottom isn’t presentation. It soaks the juices and you rip it up and eat it with the meal.

Do more of these, support small businesses! Very good series for sure!

"and I only have one stomach" 😂😂 incredibly true.

You love to see king go ham on some local food and be honest about it. Make this a series!

I kept yelling at the screen .... Add the dang spicy fries and hummus to the pita ..... Dave just dived in half way with the fries .... maybe you could try some off camera and please add some hot sauce or even some hot oil to that hummus that will knock your socks off! Thanks for showcasing this type of food 😄

Love the rules, this is what this channel is all about

Should’ve tried all the proteins and that pita with the red pepper dip. Ik that would’ve been fire

I appreciate how honest, real, and respectful you are man. It is so rare to see today on the internet 💯🙏

This looks like a W all around. “Destroy it” 🤣
