100 sins for not starting the film off with "So you want to hear a story, eh?"

This is probably the closest I’ll get to watching this movie lol

I know CinemaSins doesn’t use the source material to sin their movies but I feel like this one should be the exception. Solely to sin the fact that they casted every early to mid 20s character with someone in their 60s plus. And casting a mid 20s line backer built super soldier with KEVIN HART!!

The only thing that is game accurate are names and the fact that Marcus is the bus driver and gun salesman

The fact they didn’t sin the interaction:

Lilith: “Your father’s kind of an asshole, isn’t he?”
Tina: “Yes and no”
Lilith: “That wasn’t a yes or no question.”

YES IT WAS!

The fac tthat this wasn't narrated by Marcus going "So! You want to hear a story, eh?" was all we needed to know that this was gonna suck

Kate and Jaimie Lee admitted that the only reason they chose to do this movie, was to work with each other. HAHAHA

They just need to replace all the characters except Krieg and Marcus. Then make a sequel and have it follow the plot of Borderlands 2.

We could call it Borderlands 2

This movie is probably the biggest example of the filmmakers clearly not doing their research on the source material since "Dragonball Evolution."

12:30 In fairness, Marcus being the bus driver AND gunshop owner is actually an accurate detail, and one of the few things out of all of this nonsense that actually feels like it came from the game.

Only 20 mins? You are a merciful God with this title.

19:24 - "Everyone we care about survives this." This implies that they killed off the entire cast of characters~

ok the bus driver and mercant part is legit game lore/fact btw <3

Cosplayers who don't have multi-million dollar budgets and fan-film directors could've made a better movie than this soulless tripe of a movie directed by someone who's probably never even played a video game let alone any of the Borderlands games.

"When everybody has guns, does anyone really have guns?"
Laughed way harder than I should have 😂😂

They had a Marcus and didn't start the movie with "So, do you want to hear a story?" This is literally how every game starts, and to not start the movie with this shows they did no research into the games AT ALL. DING x5

This, the Honest Trailer, and the Nostalga Critic’s review of this will be a majority of the population’s exposure to this movie

I saw a comment online saying this movie should have had Handsome Jack played by Ryan Relnolds and I've never agreed more with an online comment.

18:51 -- No, she can't. Because the REAL Tiny Tina only wears the bunny ears because of her very dead parents. When she was even littler, her family was captured by people who did human experimentation. The father died first. Somehow, her mother got ahold of a grenade and told Tina to hide it. When it was her mother's turn for the chopping block, she told Tina to use the thing she was hiding. Tina blew a hole in the wall with the grenade, but her mother died in the process. A charred stuffed bunny is the only reminder she has of them, which is why she put its ears on her mask. And why she is completely obsessed with explosives, they are a comfort to her.

i still feel they put every single bit of effort in getting marcus just right, and then phoned the rest in with big names.
