Always enjoy your commentary about local folklore and history in your videos. Fascinating for an Australian who hasn't been taught a lot of this information.
We often don't hear about history from these parts of the world prior to about 1900, and more's the pity, as you touch on such a rich history that remains a mystery to us outside of the region, and do it in a way that makes it accessible. Keep up the great work!

Last year I travelled along this railroad. In summer, there is another commuter train, which departs from Sludyanka after midday and makes 15 minute stop near Kirkerey Tunnels. I spent a night at the hostel, located at the Port Baikal Railway station. Next morning, I moved across Angara and then walked by Great Baikal trail for 22 km to Bolshchye Koty village, where I boarded hydrofoil to Irkutsk (the price was about 30 usd). What a nice journey It was!

Interesting journey to the wildness of lake baikal during winter season with the lake frozen. Saw some YouTube of lake baikal during summer months which is equally beautiful sights. Wonder any tour around lake baikal during summer?
