Miotto Cereali is a family-run business based in Vescovana (Padua), operating in the wholesale trade of cereals and dried legumes. The company's story began about 40 years ago when Angelo, the father, started out in agriculture; he began by harvesting and drying cereals using an old, custom-built system with a daily capacity of around 800 quintals, housed in a 500-square-meter warehouse. Today, the company boasts a daily capacity exceeding 20,000 quintals and approximately 10,000 square meters of storage facilities that meet health and safety regulations, having expanded over time with new storage and drying structures. In addition to cereals, the business has expanded into durum wheat, rapeseed, protein peas, sorghum, sunflowers, and organic cereals, serving both livestock and human food supply chains and holding various certifications. They also deal in firewood, pellets, and products for pet food and gardening.
