Who really decides what you like? | Algorithms and culture

Algorithms shape the music we listen to, the news we see and which trends rise to the surface. In this video, I think out loud and try to understand what algorithms are and how they work in our everyday lives. I also take on a bigger question: if the algorithm chooses, recommends and shapes our taste and the topics we talk about, is it just a tool or already a creator of culture?
