this is the best pensado interview of all time.

man there's Pensado the interviewer, the show the ads etc. but Pensado in the producer chair answering questions and sharing wisdom on his craft and art, what an experience! and what a cool intelligent human.

"you don't wanna overpower the bacon"... My new life motto.

I had an amazing time interviewing Dave! He's not only a great mixer but also a truly wonderful guy! Please if you can check out the interview he did with on his show here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGlZVrPoJJc Thanks very much I really appreciate it! Have a marvellous time recording, many thanks Warren

Dave Pensado is master of the analogy.
Thanks for letting him speak it all through, Warren Huart!

Big P is awesome,"If it's a BLT, I'm sellin' the bacon". CLASSIC!!!

Two very highly intelligent, gifted and skilled gentlemen chatting as only such folk can do - what a joy.:washhands::washhands::washhands:

really enjoyed this time hanging with two great guys. thank you

I'm late to this video, But loved it! I have seen a lot of Dave Pensado's videos over the years and I think he is great at his craft, and as a person with a great character! Love all your videos Warren! I'm 61 and a basement songwriter and I just like it when someone says I like that one(Song)! We all have a journey to make and at the end of the day, it's the journey that mattered! I'm not one who cares about what people will think about me when I gone, I care about what people think about me or life in general now! Life is for the living, and if we can have something like music give all people a connection, to me it is the only language that all people understand! I'm just rambling on now, but I would say that I love what I do musically but never was committed to it and I think Dave was spot on with what he said about commitment in general!  To both you and Dave, THANKS!

man oh man, I cant thank you enough for taking the time to do all of your videos.!!!!!

You're a great interviewer Warren. No awkward stuff with you. Just a good old chat about our love that is music. Thank you.

He's so relatable, you can feel he reflects a lot and questions himself at times. It's awesome to hear one of the greats speak so bluntly.

This one off my all time favourite interviews and not just limited to the engineering world. Dave has some real wisdom to share.
Top notch.✊

"All you're becoming is a great typist – you're not saying anything with your typing skills."
Such mines of information you two are. I love those analogies Dave gave in this interview.
Cheers, Warren, keep up the great work!

Intelligent conversation and observations about craft, art, influences, career, perspective and more.  A refreshing addition to gear, mixing and plug-ins.  Nice!

I had no idea that Dave was so philosophical. Fascinating listening... Very inspiring and thought provoking. Thanks guys.

This channel is progressively changing my outlook and enjoyment of being a mix engineer. Great job man!!!

Dave's rant about passion around 51:30 is brilliant.  Reminds me of Marcus Aurelius' Meditations

My Two favorite youtube guys together again. Thank you.

What an amazing interview...i was compelled the whole 1:17:13 min... I came across your channel to one of your vocal mixing posts and i just happened to stumble on this interview.
my journey with this interview started during my lunch break (office job) and i was so drawn in that i had to sneak in snippets during the afternoon whilst at work..lol. Finally managed to finish it after my kids went to bed and in between the wife rushing me to watch a tv program with her..lol
i cant wait to see what else you've posted... thanks again Jason from Australia
