A once-populated, beautiful coastal town — Dhanushkodi.
Railway station...
Post office...
School...
Port...
Normal life of the people...
But that night...
The sea became rough.
The wind turned into a storm.
A train got stuck in the middle of the sea.
What happened to the people on that train?
How did Dhanushkodi get destroyed overnight?
Who survived the disaster?
Why is Dhanushkodi remembered as a “Ghost Town” today?
In this video, you can watch the background of the 1964 Dhanushkodi cyclone, the incidents that occurred that night, the train tragedy, and the change that occurred in Dhanushkodi after the disaster as a cinematic historical storytelling experience.

⚠️ Note: The video uses cinematic reconstruction / visual representation with historical information. Where some unconfirmed information is displayed, it should be viewed from the perspective of historical possibility or reconstruction.

🌊 A town...
A train...
A storm...

Looks like a psunami. They say water came into the guards home. He left the signal on and went to see his house. The bridge had collapsed and the train ran into the see. We have seen the boogies one on top of another.
My friend lost many of her family members. We were 3 years old when it happened
