I donated over 500 books to 30+ Little Free Libraries in the Portland, OR Area!

Part one of this insane journey is already live 🥳 I bought a pallet of 1,000 books for $65 and went through each and every one of them!

Here are some stats on those books:
Donated to LFL - 500+
Religious Books donated to a Religious affiliated Thrift Store - 300+
Unsalvageable/Moldy/Torn Apart - 200+
Kept for myself - 21
Gifted to family/friends - 10

No one organizes LFLs like y'all do. So satisfying! And how awesome to donate so many books. Great work. <3

Some people will sure be pleased about their little libraries. You are so wonderful to do this.

I love that you still took time to clean them all up.

Ps. I also despise those tall mass market books... apparently theyre called tall rack paperbacks. I dont mind mass markets but the tall and narrow ones can die.

This is such a generous act and such a way to spread literature more. I might not be in your area nor your country, Taylor, but thank you for this 🥹. Everyone are so privileged in reading. Thank you for sharing!

38:25 Yes! Manuals, dictionaries, sewing machine books, and all are things I'm very interested in finding again. Even bought an old medical reference dictionary for a dollar for writing stories set in previous decades.

This was f***ing awesome! I recognize the one with the old license plates on it! Around the corner from that is one of my favorite cafes, Common Grounds. Highly recommend stopping in there!

Thank you for the tip about the little free library app. Going through my basement, I have a ton of wonderful books just collecting dust, and after downloading the app, saw that a bunch of the lfl’s near me have a notification that says they need books, so next week, I have a mission!
