Is this the world’s best plane spotting hotel? ✈️
I stayed at the famous Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel, where airport-facing rooms offer incredible balcony views across Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport – one of the busiest airports in the world.
In this video, I’ll show you what it’s really like to stay here as a plane spotter, including the views from my room and balcony, the aircraft you can see, photography opportunities, and some tips for getting the most out of a stay.
With Atlanta being the home of Delta Air Lines and its largest hub, there’s an almost constant stream of aircraft to watch. But you’ll also see plenty of other US and international airlines, cargo aircraft and business jets.
I also take a look at another must-visit attraction for aviation enthusiasts in Atlanta – the Delta Flight Museum. Located only a short distance from the Renaissance, its collection includes classic Delta aircraft such as the Douglas DC-3, Boeing 767 Spirit of Delta, Lockheed L-1011 TriStar prototype sections and the first Boeing 747-400 ever built.
