US Army Beef Brisket MRE | Why Was It Cancelled? 🥩 (2015) Menu 7 Military Meal Ready To Eat Review
Readiness Rations

Beef brisket sounds pretty extravagant coming from an MRE, right? Meat-forward menus have always been popular with the troops, but Menu 7: Brisket Entrée was replaced for a reason—and after testing it for myself, I think I finally see why. Like any US Military Meal Ready to Eat, this combat ration held up well in terms of shelf life. It was packed back in 2015, and even at nearly a decade old it was still nice and fresh. That’s about as close as you’ll get to a field ration soup sandwich.

This menu is so overwhelmingly salty it's almost unbelievable, even for rations. The garlic mash is so strong with garlic, that's insane too.
The irish cap is one of the best things ever put into US MREs!
The Canadian IMP brisket dishes, Smoked Meat in Demi Glace and Smoked Meat in Mustard Sauce, are far superior in my humble opinion.
Nice review!
Take care!
