So happy now

First!
Thanks Tim!

Hay Tim, loved the video. Just bought an incubator and successfully hatched our first group.

Would love to see more videos about the breeding pens.

I know the big barn build is taking a lot of time but I really miss the DIY farm videos.

👊👍

Marvellous! I've always loved chickens but the wife has other ideas for our garden........

Good video, great for first timers. I've had a really good hatching season this year. I have found the cute fluffy chicks and time lapse of hatch videos always get far more views than tutorials.

Would be great to see what your housing designs/setups are for your different flocks, and how you keep predators out, and also how to you keep rats from getting to the chicks? 💩

It would be great to see you identifying the sex on them. Great video 😊

There's 1 thing missing from this video Tim.... how did you get Jo to agree to the chicken breeding business? I could do with some help here, somehow the conversation about 3-4 hens never seem to end the way I would like 🤣

Definitely more chicken raising content, it's super interesting. Where do you source all the different birds to breed on from? Seems quite a diverse mix- do you get the birds locally or order and hatch out eggs from different batches sources to start your breeding groups? We home ed our eldest and he is already plotting how to grow a chicken empire for pocket money 🤣

Jo, can you ask Tim if he breeds bird for a particular traits ie better layers? better for showing etc?

Could you detail what happens to the males? I guess most people want females for eggs? We have 2 cockerels from a batch of eggs we were given and definitely couldn’t have any more which puts me off raising any more chicks.
