Absolutely fit the 2 cylinder. It won't be much more work realistically. And posting things that don't work out is great too - it's about the journey and creativity. Plus might save someone else the headache of trying it and failing also lol.

Lots of projects don't work, but they are still informative and entertaining.

Where is the v8 rc car

I enjoy watching all projects success or failure. But I do believe that crawler is still a success because it’s basically a piece of art.

I think it’s great when you feature projects that don’t quite work out. Failure is just part of the hobby, every build isn’t going to be all rosy cheeks and smiles. There are always days where you feel defeated, but it’s encouraging to know that at some point you’ll have the energy to come back and try again. I’d honestly love to see more of that, even if the end result isn’t perfect, because it’s something everyone in the hobby can relate to. That said, I totally get the need to balance your time and the effort that goes into putting videos together.

Put all the time into it. Don't let it fail. JUST DO IT.

"I'll make it a personal project to fit the two cylinder in. At no extra cost. [...] I don't want to see this thing fail." I have never heard a quote that describes the RC Hobby better. Failing is just as much a part as making cars fly. The calmer videos of you two tinkering on the weirdest projects like this or the world's longest crawler are just as enjoyable as the action packed ones. Even if they end up in a failure or a next part in a couple of months or years.

Get it 100% no matter what you have gone this far don’t give up !!!!!!❤

Try a heavier spring in the clutch, it's engaging too soon when the engine isn't in its powerband.

Can't believe its already been 5 years, I remember watching those videos when you first started building it.

Kevin there is no shame in still posting a failed build. Everything is a learning experience
And just because it fails doesn't mean it couldn't help anyone else. I learn the most from my failed builds

@dansforza20 1 year ago

Failure is part of the creative process. Yes, we want to see the fails as much as the successes. It's so rewarding when you finally get it to work that it makes the journey worthwhile.

The failures and problem solving are what make the content interesting to me. I just subscribed after casually watching your content for around a year because of this and the loooong crawler, lol.

Definitely keep going on the truck, just because this version didn't work out like you thought it doesn't mean the next one won't. And yes keep posting the videos, I love seeing what other people come up with to get this stuff built.

Dumb things like this always end up cool when you do it Kev! We want to see more!

@jagergerg9771 1 year ago

This is no failing, it’s a learning experience.

Love custom one-off builds like this. Definitely squeeze that big ol engine in there!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘

@charlieray1891 1 year ago

It's really nice to see a project that doesn't work. I mean that genuinely. too often do people make things seem like everything they do is always perfect, and then when children try things and they don't work out they don't every try again because they think the things they do should always work great the first time. The thing is, your also experienced at this stuff so that also helps do dissolve that illusion especially for someone trying something new. so failure is great sometimes, keep it up.

Even failing is a learning curve. I've noticed that the most things i miss on your channel are such builds and epic Bashdays with the crew. Keep going mate.
