Already seeing some great corrections/additions from the comments! I'm gonna compile them all and keep them pinned here...

- Biggest Israeli band is actually Her Last Sight
- Biggest Greek band is actually Elysion
- The Faroe Islands has the band Tyr
- Mongolia has the band  The Hu
- Andorra has the band Persefone
- We can argue all day about whether Volbeat and Ghost are Metal or not but who cares, this video is more about smaller countries and not the usual big ones

You have to realize that for some of these people, just listening to metal is already extremely courageous — and yet they still go on to form a band. Respect.

An Iranian band casually risking prison (or more) for the sake of playing Metal.
That's Metal as fuck.

I feel bad for each band member on the left side of their photo...

showing bloodywood and playing the babymetal part of the song is diabolical

Man thanks do much, I was actually shocked to see us appear 😂 its super difficult to get noticed on an island!

A dumb fun fact: the band Mago de Oz (from Spain) has changed its members so much throughout the years that once on a radio station I heard someone say "they've become a cover band of themselves".

Oh wow!! We are so honored to be featured in this amazing playlist!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾!! Thanks a lot for the consideration and the support ! 😃🔥🤘🏾!! This means a lot to us

Persefone from Andorra have 67k monthly listeners. Andorra's population is about 89k people.

Funny how I've clicked on this video just to discover more metal bands and ended up discovering new countries.

Austria having a Pirate-Metal Band as #1 is so funny to me. Especially since they have no connection to an ocean what so ever

Thanks for mentioning us! This is so cool!

Edit: Oh wow, thanks everyone! This must be our most popular comment ever on any social media platform, haha!

germany not being no.1 feelt weird 'till I saw metalica

I would never have expected to find raw black metal from Monaco

Now I want a metal-only Eurovision

EDIT: I'm just a random guy who made time stamps. Please don't reply pointing out things you think are wrong with the list.

Hu from Mongolia would have earned it's place here too, I think.

The "SOAD are an American band" timing was perfect

I like it when a band sings in their native language.

I love that almost every band is so patriotic that they have a guy with a flag for head, as one of the members
