I’m saving a lot of money now that I don’t buy anything and slowly selling all the stuff I own is giving a big boost to my savings

I wasted thousands on a financed car just to look cool, and lived a lifestyle of spending all my money. I managed to sell the car however I’m now at square one. I’m starting right at the bottom but I’m very mindful of where my money will go now. This video caught me right at the perfect time. At the end of the year I will be in such a better place because of this mindset

I love how well you articulate your relationship with money, work and consumerism.  You have a refreshing and intensional take on frugality. You make it sound almost fun!😊

I swear you always make the best videos at the perfect time. You are such a beautiful soul, thank you for being vulnerable and sharing so much with us, you are such an inspiration for me as a young girl.

frugal since i was a child. never asked my parents lavishly to buy me anything. now supporting them financially for years and working on my plan to buy a house by saving longterm. while other boys played consoles i drew alot and read meditations from aurelius. i doubted myself sometimes but i'm well aware as the days pass that i was and am on the right path all along. at one point i wanted to buy a bigger car but i scrapped that idea because afterwards it'll be something else that could fill the void. in my opinion frugalty is common sense. nice video.

You have such a beautiful soul. I agree with everything you so eloquently said. I too have never understood the amount of money spent on weddings. It seems those people don't understand that the wedding is not the point. Its the marriage afterwards that counts.

😢 You & your kids deserve better! I think he saw a non materialistic girl & trapped you into struggle love. Hopefully, he won’t take everything you have & leave you all destitute. You’re a frugal person so he won’t see it that way. The bright side, you’ve got someone to watch the kids while you work.

hi Anitha, I really appreciate your transparency and the spiritual philosophy parts. I'm recognising I need to simplify the things in my life, and need (more) money for stability. I really appreciate your videos!

Heyyyyy, I hope you are doing good. Your perspective on life has truly changed mine. I love how you view money as 'stored life energy' and refuse to waste it on fleeting things. Seeing you prioritize your inner well-being over materialistic trends is so refreshing. You’ve inspired me in much more ways to be more thoughtful with my own time and resources. You truly understand what it means to live well. ❤❤❤

It helps to nourish that rich inner world  where little to no outside amusement is needed. Frugality is where the peace of mind is 😊

I like your money mindset talks so much!

What a wonderful woman you are. Thank you for the video, i enjoyed very much. God bless you and your family😊

I absolutely love this ! Thank you Anitha.

love love love these videos on frugality 🙏🏻 they are so inspiring.

I’m currently in a position where i’m making less than i’m spending, so i’m really trying to limit what i’m taking out of my savings account. it’s hard ! i’m trying to be more disciplined like you say and stick to the budget I made even if I want to buy more. Where i struggle is with social situations, it’s hard to socialise with friends without going out to the bar or somewhere you have to pay, especially in winter when you can’t really chill in parks.

I do the same cash envelope system. I’m not as good at saving as yourself but I do love saving too. It brings a temporary state of comfort. Sometimes it feels like you can never have enough, but as you said it’s mental & spiritual and learning how to be content in the ordinary.
All your videos are so on point & helpful. Thank you, Anitha ❤

Thank you for sharing

so glad you found a job that works with the kids!  I'm still searching, hopefully I find something permanent soon. i found a seasonal job over the holidays and have not spent a cent of it yet, saving feels so good :) the envelope system looks so straightforward, i love that. do you plan to move back into the van when the weather improves? your van always looked so very cozy!

Thank you for this reminder 🙏🏾 I needed to hear this today. I resonate with everything that you said in this video. Thank you for reminding me that I am enough and I have enough ✨️

You opened up my eyes as to my time and energy equals to the money I make. I will treat this money thoughtfully. Thank you so much for your valuable learning experience. I will follow you.

Very interesting to find first time a person like me of Indian heritage who is into frugality.watching you from south Africa 🎉
