Berlin is one of the easiest cities in Europe to explore. The trains, trams, and buses are incredibly well connected, affordable, and simple to use. We travelled everywhere using the unlimited transport pass, which made it possible to see so much in a short time without worrying about individual tickets.

One thing that really surprised us was how affordable the food was for a major capital city. From street food to restaurants, you can eat well without spending a fortune. We also found Berlin to feel very safe throughout our trip, with no problems at all during day or night.

Berlin is packed with history, culture, and incredible places to visit β€” and the best part is you can experience a huge amount without needing to pay to enter attractions, making it perfect for budget travel.
