------------

In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.

Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

Imagine my surprise when I realized the title wasn't referring to either of the two spoiled-prawn-based bedtime stories.

The fact that two separate people heard "storybook for adults" and immediately thought "Prawn-induced shits that bring a man to his knees" is fucking phenomenal

Lisa is the aunt you didn’t appreciate enough when you were young but as you got older you realized she’s the funniest and coolest person you’ve ever met

God bless Alex Horne and the person that convince him to start an official YouTube channel

I see Asim is really a man of culture, loving Museums n Shit

You can't fault Asim for wanting Greg as a father figure. Seeing him bob 2 fully grown adults on his knee like he was born to do so made my day. And you can't tell me Russel didn't look a wee bit disappointed he din't get to.

If I got a penny for every time someone used the words "old prawn" in a task this episode, I'd have two pennies. It's not that much, but it's strange it happened twice.

Lisa's "no F's given" attitude just cannot be topped. A nuclear bomb could take out a full city behind her and she would turn, look, say "right then" and resume her day. Love it

I root for Bob Mortimer even when he's not participating

Russel not sitting properly in the chair is a vibe I relate with

From this ep, I'm waiting for the reveal that Alice Levine has had an individual challenge to greet Alex with a B-word each episode. I remember bella previously and now babycakes.

poor Alice; she started off great but is now getting basically last in everything

Lisa nailed it. After a hard long day, I just need someone to tell me "You made excellent decisions today. Well done."

Today I learned some English swearwords I had never heard before. Lovely.

Liza’s straight face to camera and then “he shat himself” is genuinely the funniest response to any task I’ve seen so far! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Russell is a gem. Ripping his own socks off and then roping in an audience member for help was my favorite part of this episode, just struck me as weirdly wholesome.

Alice ended with 6 points, is that a record low score for an episode?!?
Unbelievable performance!

Because I know you were wondering, chickens are actually omnivores. Alex Horne is also omnivorous, not a chicken, but he eats some bugs too. Only 2, per day, though.
