Seven EuroLeague players are heading to the NBA, but they’re arriving with very different expectations. From Mario Hezonja’s Cleveland Cavaliers comeback and Alpha Diallo’s fit next to Nikola Jokic in Denver to Tarik Biberovic and Sergio De Larrea joining the Dallas Mavericks, I break down what these players proved in Europe and what could hold them back in the NBA.

it feels like diallo and hezonja just took a shot in the dark and worst case they will come back in EU asking for insane contracts, as it always happens.
He was "a bit" boneheaded and stubborn and difficult when he was young, but if he did truly mature/grow up, I don't see why he couldn't be a solid role player, maybe even 6th man potential if all goes well, even at 31. I was really high on him back when he was drafted.
He is a fairly versatile player overall, good size, solid IQ, shooting/scoring, playmaking... I haven't really watched him closely in a long time, but that's how I remember him. Watched a few Real Madrid games and he did look pretty good in those games.
But I may be overrating him, we shall see lol
Diallo could also be a solid cheap player for Denver, especially with how fragile Gordon is, and them losing Watson... I could see him have a relatively big role if all goes well, and especially if Gordon struggles with injuries again. He will have an impact on D for sure, and I'm curious if Jokic can get him some easy points on cuts and fast brakes.
Not really familiar with the rest of them, other than Lyles, hope they all make at least some noise, and earn some NBA $$$
