Unforgettable scene from this classic movie. So moving when Eliza was presented to the Queen.

I used to watch My fair lady during the Christmas holidays with my beloved father. This film is an absolute masterpiece. George Bernard Shaw was an absolutely pure genius. Wish someone could make a film like this nowadays … Classy and inspiring 💯🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Audrey the loveliest lady ever. Elegant and very classy. On stage and off people loved her.

What is not to love about Audrey Hepburn. Iconic actress and great humanitarian.

The clothing is just beautiful & the way the man gives her his arm towards the dance floor is very gentlemanly like & that’s really missing in this world now! All that beautiful classic dress code & behaviour; just mmm.

Baroness Rothschild, who plays the Queen of Transylvania, was the absolute leader of Parisian high society in 1964, when "My Fair Lady" was made. She had loved the stage musical, and contacted George Cukor, the director. She told him that, if he gave her a speaking part in the film, she would arrange a dazzling premiere for it at the Paris Opera, with all of the greatest celebrities in Europe in attendance. He did, and she did.

The refinement that has long been dead and gone. R.I.P. All the great actors, director and everyone else who was involved in the making of the wonderful movie.

How is it legal for one actress to have so much class , beauty , talent and poise in one small package ?

The waltz Frederick Loewe composed for this scene is as lovely as any of Richard Rodgers' many!

The moment Audrey and the prince dance, is the exact moment I fell in love with the Waltz. It was this song, and the way they whirled around the floor. I was amazed how elegant, romantic and beautiful it could be... And how it could make you feel.

This has always been one of my favorites since I was a kid. Normally my parents took my sister and I to see Disney films, but this was a special treat I will always remember.

One of the two old time classics of mine....My Fair Lady and The Sound of Music....when I was in my pre-teens to teens. I was studying in Catholic school in India and we students were taken en masse to see these movies. Two of the best movies ever for me. I forget how many times I have seen these movies since. Audrey Hepburn, Rex Harrison.......and Julie Andrews and Christopher Plumber will remain in my memory forever.
