All the bikes are scared when they see a guy with a golden Helmet holding mysterious cans😂😂

Did this 30years ago. With same results. A runaway engine that still ran without spark, guy disconnected lead thinking it would stop the engine, by now it was so hot it was igniting like a glow plug. It ran until the fuel ran out. It was singing at stupid high rpm’s. Lots of fun.

The air to fuel ratio of a small rc nitro engine is like 3:1 lmao, nitromethane has oxygen on its chemical structure so it doesn't need that much oxygen from air

You guys are the live action version of Spongebob and Patrick, and I love it.

the camera man is always speaking the worst “it’s gonna blow up”

This will be the top comment for no reason

like you said, gas is roughly 14:1 AFR, E85 is roughly 9:1 AFR
Nitro though is about 3:1 AFR so you need huge amounts of fuel.
Also, the rod knock sound youre hearing is probably spark knock where the nitro is making the spark plug tip glow red hot.
Lastly, it now doesnt feel like getting into the power band because of how much fuel youre dumping into the combustion chamber is cooling the exhaust gases.

You need a carburetor set up for alcohol . Contact FTZ Racing and let them know your wanting to run nitromethane premix .

Try jet fuel next time maybe when you then pop a wheelie you just fly away

The reason the kill switch isn’t working is the nitromethane reacting to the heat and infighting itself. Also the reason for the knocking is nitromethane burns cold and not hot

14.5:1 is gasoline appropriate air to fuel ratio, RC nitro is 1.7:1 air to fuel, you guys never even got close to giving it enough fuel😢 I appreciate that you uploaded this with a computer rather than using a computer to figure out how to do it, you learned the old way, the fun way, the expensive way😂😂

I can't believe what I just seen! After running nitro rc cars for years and I could've predicted it wouldn't work but I give you guys so much credit for effort!!!!!

I like the way you experiment with all kinds of different stuff, reminds me so much of when I was your age. Keep learning, keep grinding, and most importantly keep having fun! Good to see your channel gaining traction!

Nitromethane is not more power dense than gasoline. The secret to its power is that it carries its own oxygen in its molecules so WITH the addition of atmosphere (air) that is approximately 21% oxygen, you can burn way more of it for a given engine displacement. A hydrolocked piston is one which the entire cylinder is filled with water.... and that doesn't compress = bad day. If you fed enough gasoline into the cylinder to ALLLLLMMOST hydrolock it... you'd  be at the level where top fuel dragsters run their fuel. That would also absolutely NOT burn and WOULD indeed hydrolock your engine. The top fuelers run on the verge of hydraulic lock at full throttle. Massive fuel pumps and the arc power of a couple welders as well as a massive supercharger that in itself CONSUMES hundreds of horsepower parasitically to compress air into the engine. They make over 10,000 horsepower from 8 cylinders. Over 1000 hp per cylinder. So imagine a dirtbike engines potential IF it could be built strong enough.... The extra 2 oxygen atoms carried by the nitro allows virtually all of the fuel in the dragsters cylinders to burn and turn into high pressure gas but only at full throttle. Often it can be seen at idle and mid throttle, that liquid is spraying out of the headers so it's very rich at low throttle and should be tuned to be as perfect as possible at full throttle. This is the job of the racing teams crew chief and his assistants. The true challenge is hitting the perfect ratio of fuel and air WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO RUN THE ENGINE AT FULL THROTTLE! BECAUSE TO DO SO WOULD WEAR THE ENGINE TO THE POINT OF NEEDING A REBUILD. Tuning a dirtbike you rev to full and measure/feel/hear the response... with top fuel its all math and experience. Differences in air temp become huge from race to race or even run to run.

That wrist pin bearing is screaming for help

2:11 idk why I find this so funny😂

Someone opening a portal to hell in the background wtf

I did that once, in my youth. To my 750 twin. Knackered the main bearings. Total rebuild required! Kept running even with the ignition off!

i really like the scientific explaination of this tune

I think maybe you should use normal gas and just add this bottle as an addition to the normal gas and then you would check the power. I think it would be much better.
