And to think this was the process for just one small prop! I can't imagine what it must be like creating all the other props and environments. You really have an incredibly talented team, bravo!

Really reminds me of the way post-soviet engineers were DIY'ing PCB's for their pet projects, they even had a funny name for the process, which they called Laser Steam-Iron Process (Лазерно Утюжная Технология)

Wonderful video! The bit about leaving on the toner as a resist during patina is brilliant. As a jeweler, I know full well how much detail can be lost when cleaning up after using liver of sulphur. While I do both laser etching and hand engraving, this form of chemical etching gives a very specific look that is otherwise difficult to achieve.  I also do a lot of micro welding (both laser and TIG), small scale machining, and prop making, so it would be really neat to see a video on the construction of armatures. I find the small scale world of stop motion to be absolutely fascinating!

I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate this video. Forever I couldnt find videos on prop and set making. Stop Motion is my passion and it has been really tough over the years to find videos of how to make all of this stuff at a professional level. You guys have some videos on like talking about the mini costumes and some prop stuff, but it wasn't how to's. And I have tried so hard to Google those types of vids, though I really want them to come from an actual studio so you know industry processes. And granted I really want to buy you guys book! But this is the first video that ive seen from you guys like this and my heart literally dropped (in a good way!). It could just be the algorith too and these kids are hard to find. I dknt think ive combed through your guys video list actually.
