it's always better to go by walk when it's possible (you say : "it's near", so why to ask a rickshawvala ? Do you have too much money ?))
In the railway station, don't ask people. Just look at the board ! Everything is written: Train number and platform number, for instance. Many scammers in the stations are waiting for you !
