In this episode, I travel across Australia to the remote Dampier Peninsula, north of Broome in Western Australia, invited by a Bardi Jawi family to experience their culture and ancient way of life.

With just an old 100 Series LandCruiser, basic camp gear, and no luxuries, we head bush to live off the land, sleep on the beach and hunt gather and cook over an open fire with the Bardi Jawi people.

From being properly welcomed onto Country and learning the spiritual connection to the land, to hunting mud crabs by the tides, finding freshwater springs hidden by saltwater, and tasting traditional bush food like trumpet shell and edible roots we dig up from the open forest floor, this journey is all about understanding the deep traditions and knowledge of the Bardi Jawi people.
