I've been on a neptunes old footage binge lately. I'm just now realizing what an impact they had on a 7-13 year old me. To this day I hear neptunes songs from the 2000s and I feel like this was the pinnacle of modern music across all genres. I gotta throw timbaland name out too. He was on fire at the time with his production across all genres. Must be a VA thing everybody out of that state was dope.

“U Don’t Have to Call was for Michael 5 years ago”- this interview was 2002, so they presented it to him in 1997. Crazy

I'm back here after Peice by Peice

Man had it not been for Pharrell, I wouldn't even care about music! I make beats because of this music and life genius. Long Live Pharrell

People don't realize that alot of producers stockpile so much music before it's even considered for release, that by the time it's put out (or not), they've moved on musically 5 times over. That plays alot into several repetitive sounding beats coming out after a few hit it big.

This man made the U Don't have to call beat in 1997 wtf...mind fucked.

Pharrell was so damn fine oh my GOD

2017 NEEDS THIS!!! WE NEED THAT Neptunes  FEEEL AGAIN

The Neptunes definitely DID reproduce their sounds many times, between 98-2002 alot of their stuff sounded similar. Too many to name, but it worked. Its how they developed a sound

put some respect on ChadHugo and Shaye Haley’s name 💯💯

Thank God we have YouTube to watch all of these rare interviews! Never seen this one!

lmao when the interviewer asked about how much he was making Pharrell crossed his arms AND legs

I miss this Pharrell

That host was all in his pockets at the end of the interview. I seen almost every Pharrell interview except this one. Thank you for sharing.

fav interview from the era

The Neptunes are the greatest!!!
