And then bloody hyper realistic Mario jumped out of the screen and kicked me in the goombas.

"Mario Rom Hack."
"Sexual themes."
Checks out.

And then hyper realistic Chris Pratt came out of the screen and started stomping… koopas for hours. He’s so cool

32:25 extremely funny that a game trying really hard to be taken seriously literally sampled michael scott at its climax (i know vinny points it out but still)

And then hyperrealistic piss came out of Mario and I was like "what the hell are you doing"

I've just realized that "Hey there Champ!" Is borderline "Why hullo, Douglath"

It's kind of insane how many "creepy" mario fan games and rom hacks there are. Vinny could legitimately turn this into a monthly segment and it would still take probably at least YEARS before he even remotely comes close to playing them all

Iggy's Castle, that first rom hack, has around 13 endings to it! Kind of nuts how developed a lot of these romhacks are these days.

Just twiddling my thumbs and waiting for one of these to say something like "have you ever WONDERED, why Mario's HAT... is RED??? 💉😱 "

Creator of "ALPHA SPHERE: Director's Cut" here: to give a little bit of context, it was originally submitted for a "Halloween Level Design Contest" and it actually got 1st place! The Director's Cut is simply a slightly expanded version of the game, and there's even a prequel I made called "ALPHA SPHERE Zero: Rotten Brains." There is currently a proper sequel in the works, tho I'm still trying to plan the overall structure and the various sequences.

Why didn't I make this in any other engine? Like what was said (or speculated I guess), one of the reasons is I simply wanted to work with the limitations of the SNES.
It's definitely not weird to wonder why I chose the "wahoo game" to make this, but the main answer is I wanted to do something wild and different that hasn't been done in the SMW Hacking community. That's pretty much how I roll with nearly all my projects.

(Yes, I am the same "Daizo Dee Von" who made 100 Rooms of Enemies, and was involved in the recent "Law & Order: Mushroom Kingdom Unit")

Not vinny playing my vanilla level design entry 3 times for absolutely no reason thinking its an actual full hack lol

That face at 8:43 just made me giggle.

Hey hey people...

Bro sold his soul for a dollar store flash light

1:54 the anti-aliasing on that sh**'s fire 🔥🔥

Friendly reminder that the "Please Come To The Castle" hack was submitted for Simpleflips' SM64 Creepypasta Romhack competition.

1:29 i like how for a moment he got off-putted by the sudden graphic change

Seeing this guy try to solve puzzles is something else.

He really said "you know what watching a horror movie on difficult is? You take Nyquil and you try to jelq before you get scared or fall asleep"

22:55 this made me have a fuckin fit
jesus christ
