CCC | Courmayeur-Champex-Chamonix is a 101km race around Mont Blanc. It is the baby brother of the main 170km Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc.

This was my first time in Chamonix. Look out for Jim Walmsley, Tom Evans, Tim Tollerfson, Xavier Thevanard and Damian Hall in my film of this year's event.

Have you done CCC or any of the UTMB races? What was your experience? I loved it, but I think I can do better. I'll definitely be back.

I got 5 minutes into this and realised it was going to be epic so put it on the tv instead!! Absolutely incredible, I take my hat off to you 🔥🔥

“They also do park runs, 5 kilometers.”
Walmsley: “Wow.”

Idk. That just made me laugh!
Seriously, I love your channel! I miss the races this year and your vids are a soothing balm.

Best self coverage ever of UTMB!

Stephen, This is without a doubt the best trail running/ultra video I have seen...and I've watched many. The videography, the storytelling, the scenery and music were brilliant! Overcoming your fatigue and making an epic push down the final descent, passing numerous runners in the process, was inspiring. So happy to have found your channel. BTW, what is name of the instrumental played throughout the video? It would surely get me pumped in the final miles of my next ultra. Cheers!

Great video! What are you filming with? A drone? Several times you do a 360 and there is obviously nothing attached to your arms, just you holding onto a control mechanism. Such a cool perspective.

Must say that i had tears of joy watching this spectacular "documentary" about u running UTMB. Love your channel sir

The day after tomorrow is the last day to register for the draw of the CCC 2025, and I am qualified with 3 running stones. In 2021, I gave up at Vallorcine, in 2022 I reached the end in 24 hours and 52 minutes, in 2023 I gave up at Le Trient, and for 2024, I did not even try to qualify for the draw. So now I am wondering whether to register for the draw, and I watched this video for motivation. It tilted somewhat the balance towards registering, but I still haven't made my decison yet. Anyway, thank you for enabling me to revive these moments from my participations.

Carrying the camera and narrating the video must be little sacrifices to your overall performance. I can only thank you for this and congratulate you on completing the ccc

Just watched this after your training video, total legend dude #respect.

Late to the party. Very well done. Very well filmed. And an ordinary proper runner. I get more inspiration out of watching people like you, and that are similar to me than I do watching the elites (but I love that too!). All that hard work paid off. Your honesty about underestimating it was refreshing.

This is a really awesome take on UTMB. I'm so used to seeing so much race day/training footage of the pros and this was really neat to see it from this perspective. Thanks!

What camera did you use to film this? I'm very impressed with the quality of the footage and your efforts! Bless you, Love and Peace

After running the UTMB route last summer (not the race...we did it over 5 days), I've been hoping to find a video that truly captures not just the 'epicness' of the trail - like the arduous, technical climbs and descents that seem to go on forever - but the incredible beauty and grandeur of the Mont Blanc massif. In this video you have captured it all, and more. Without doubt, this is one of the very best running films or videos I've ever seen. Congratulations on your run, and on making this brilliant record of your experience!

You did a fabulous job in this piece and I genuinely like you because you are so down to earth and very much like the majority of us common runners in the world. Thanks!
