These are representative indices that anyone who has engaged in long-term U.S. investment has likely heard of at least once.
In particular, the Nasdaq 100 is an index that many investors invest indirectly through ETFs such as QQQ and QQQM.
However, the inclusion criteria for the Nasdaq 100 changed starting May 1st.
Changes that index investors need to be aware of include the "Fast Entry" system, which allows for the rapid inclusion of mega-cap companies immediately after listing; changes to the free-float ratio requirements; and adjustments to the rebalancing method.
