In this video, we're breaking down the incredible latest development and asking the obvious question:

HOW HAS THIS FIGHT JUST BECOME A WORLD TITLE FIGHT?!

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have spent years trying to make this fight happen. After countless negotiations, near misses, postponements and arguments over the venue, the two British heavyweight stars finally signed the contracts.

The fight was officially announced for Cardiff — but now the WBA has reportedly added another massive layer to the event.

The vacant WBA "Super" title is set to be on the line.

That means the winner of Fury vs Joshua could walk away from Principality Stadium as a three-time heavyweight world champion.

Fury has previously held the WBC heavyweight championship, while Joshua has held the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles. Both men have also suffered two defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.

Now they have the opportunity to put a world championship back around their waist.

But there is an important distinction.

Murat Gassiev currently holds the WBA's "regular" heavyweight title, while the WBA Super championship became vacant after Oleksandr Usyk vacated his belts earlier this year. The decision to put the Super title on Fury vs Joshua has therefore raised plenty of questions among boxing fans.

And that's exactly what we're getting into.
