Joe, semolina is the key on your pizza paddle to get it off into the oven! Also when you stretch the dough sprinkle semolina over your work surface. Thank the chef later!

Bless Dot she treats you so well.Joe

hearing Dianne say “nah fuck off” made me laugh out loud 😆😆

That’s so adorable that he calls her “Dot”🥺

Why do I love your vlogs so much. I will tell you ,it’s because they are so natural and make me feel part of them. Great 🤗

So happy you’ve posted. HAPPY Belated BIRTHDAY JOE 🥳xx

For real Joe ! I felt so smug as a kid, when I got the parents distracted again. It was like a competition of how long could u stay 😆

Happy Birthday Joe!
Usually a silent watcher but just wanna give you some ooni pizza advice that has helped my family: Get a wooden spade for the pizza, slides much easier and then you can use the metal one for turning once it's in the oven. Don't put too much flour on the spade because it will burn and don't prepare the pizza on the spade because it will stick more and you will have a harder time putting it in the oven. Still went pretty well for a first attempt so good job!

Perfect timing! Just watched It Takes Two, got myself a snack, opened youtube & here this is! Happy Belated Birthday! 🎉

Very lovely and sweet vlog, just enjoyed it ❤

Loved this vlog, like 3 vlogs in one. Well worth the wait 😍

Took me a while to get the hang of getting the pizza off the peel and into the oven when I first got my Ooni. It comes with practice though. Little tip for ya Joe - try using semolina rather than ordinary flour on the peel. I find it slides off easier. Try and give any remaining semolina/flour left in the oven a quick sweep out before putting your second pizza in too as it seems to cause the base of your second pizza to get a bit burnt if there's leftover in the bottom of the oven. The pizza turner is useful for turning the pizza in the oven for a more even cook rather than trying to turn it with the peel,

The pizza song 😍 every Aussie family who grew up in the 90s/00s will know that one. What a throwback!

Getting older is a gift and a blessing but for some reason I just don't have the urge to have a birthday party after reaching 40. Happy birthday Joe, all the best 🎉

love a pizza oven, if you get a perforated pizza peel the dough slides off easier!

TIP: use corn starch on the pizza spade. creates a more ''slippery'' surface for the pizza and the corn starch doesnt get burnt on the bottom of the pizza.

Happy belated Birthday Joe hope you had an enjoyable day 🎉😊

Lovely video Joe! An absolute treat to see all the love around you! My birthday is a few days before yours and it was pretty much another day for me. I don’t have a big family and most of my friends don’t live close. We’re in our 30s and everyone else has partners and their own life. I had a lovely gift from my dad, saw a family friend who visited and lots of people messaged me which was all really nice. I can’t complain and I don’t need a big fuss and I have a lot more than a lot of people, but if you have people that are willing to go out of their way…especially on your exact day to celebrate you in any way, even if it’s just balloons or a visit or a cake, appreciate it. Always appreciate people thinking about you and making time for you. I know you do anyway of course, but you’re very lucky❤

Thought I was seeing a life of tom vlog when it said 58 MINUTES! 🙌

Happy 🎉birthday Joe hope you had a fabulous day you deserve it you are just fabulous xx
