This captured a lot of things I wouldn't have expected. I found myself thinking "all true, but I love it all the same". Nice one.

geopold but bristolian

My in laws visiting next week from Japan are staying there to meet a friend. I think they will be pretty shocked.

You are so funny!! This is so accurate and comprehensive.

Best thing about ashton gate when the gas are playing their is the way they outsing the city fans with irean goodnight  !

Real one know the helicopter isn’t real totterdown is so goated

As a Bristolian native I absolutely agree the city is rubbish but it never used to be it used to have a soul Bristol used to have so much going for it but then the place just started to suck mainly because of weirdos destroying the city I always say to anyone visiting Bristol once you've visited Bristol go around the rest of the west county to see some real beauty and proper country.

Spot on

So, are Banksy and Gromit from Bristol?

So detailed 😂

Comments being removed.

Alright mate 👍
😁😄😃😂😆

To be fair, Ashton Gate is a good place to see Bristol Rovers lose…given it’s Bristol City’s ground.

😂😂 John Cabot left from Bristol!! 😂😂.   Cabot and the Matthew left from Pill, Somerset 5 miles downstream on the river Avon!  There’s no way the river would have been navigable on one tide back then so they would have waited at Hung road, Pill for the next ebb tide to take them out into the channel. 🦈⚓️🏴‍☠️

He’s not wrong 🫩

Transport is shocking, house prices are crazy, the far left council has been infiltrated by anti-car cycling lunatics, certain areas are frigging dangerous, the central shopping area is dying on it's arse with pathetic litter wardens hiding in doorways trying to catch people who accidentally drop anything and slap them with a hefty fine and the out of town one is a carbon copy of every other soulless Mall every other town in the country, bus lanes sit empty whilst commuters waste hours of their lives every day in stationary cars, the dysfunctional council recently blew over £140 million on a tiny city centre concert venue rather than build a proper events centre which would have attracted top artists.
Yup, Bristol sucks, big time.

Protect turbo island

Dude! You forgot to point out the bus station that's next to the Bear Pit! The train station at Temple Meads and M32...which people, who think Bristol does suck, can pi55 0ff on!
