I found an abandoned BMX bike that was completely destroyed — covered in rust, missing parts, and left to rot for years. In this video, I bring it back to life through a full restoration process from start to finish. Every part has been cleaned, repaired, repainted, and rebuilt until it looks and rides like new again.

I love watching stuff like this. Bringing something that others gave up on a new life. Wish you were around when I was kid. I won a bicycle thru the captain crunch cereal contest back in the 80's. It was Huffy brand bike and I loved it. One day, after putting my bike away, my older sister used to a quick trip, I said Ok, BUT put it away when your done. She left it behind my dads work truck and I didn't see when I went to school the next morning cause where my dads truck and my bike were was in complete darkness. I came home couldn't find it...I thought someone stole till my mom told me my dad backed over it when he was leaving for work. He took it to the local garage to see if they could straighten out the frame...The garage tried, but my bike was never the same.

Great build! Can't even unpack a tire without finding a death beetle. Close call.

Looks like a "newer" bike that someone trashed and just left outside in the elements for a few years. I always enjoy seeing things get restored... nice job.

Outside of the different colors of the bike. Perfect.

What’s amazing to me, other than the skills it takes to do the restoration, is how you keep track of all the parts, how they work, fit together, and where to put them back. Also the specific skills and tools needed to work on something like a bike- it’s remarkable. Well done on this restoration.
