For our upcoming thru-hike in Sweden, I've updated my watercolor palette and set up! I've made it more compact and made a few other changes too! I especially want to thank those of you who gave me the idea to cut a hole in my board to hold my small water cup. Impressed at how neat your filling went. I just filled 24 wells in a wooden palette. I didn't even have to hold the pans. Yet I went through 3 wet paper towels and 2 dry, and, my hands and fingers were a huge mess.

I think it's interesting to see what people take for travel, even if I don't really paint/draw often when I go travel myself. I'm going on a 3-day trip here in the Norwegian mountains this coming weekend, and I'm going to bring some supplies. I have a winsor and newton cotman set that is kind of easy to take with me. We'll see how much I'll be able to do😅 Looking forward to seeing your paintings from your trip👍

I’ve just discovered Daniel Smith neutral tint. Have you tried it?
I’ve watched many different plein air set up/gear videos. I ended up going with foam core covered with book plastic. Then I scored it down the middle, so it folds so I have a bigger working surface packs up nicely. Thanks for the video. So enjoy your style.
