Final Destination Bloodlines Reaction, Recap, Commentary, Analysis, & Spoiler Review!! Greg Alba and Roxy Striar react to Final Destination: Bloodlines, the highly anticipated return to one of horror’s most iconic franchises! This sixth entry introduces a new cast while tying into the terrifying legacy of the series. Starring Brec Bassinger (Stargirl, Bella and the Bulldogs), Teo Briones (American Horror Story, Chucky), Kaitlyn Santa Juana (On My Block), Richard Harmon (The 100, The Killing), and Anna Lore (Titans, They/Them), the film follows a new group of victims attempting to cheat death — but death has its design. We revisit Final Destination’s infamous rules, build-up suspense, and explosive kills, including gruesome new set-pieces inspired by the franchise’s legacy. Popular returning themes include premonitions, Rube Goldberg-style setups, and that signature paranoia. We discuss how Bloodlines connects to Final Destination (2000), Final Destination 2 (2003), Final Destination 3 (2006), The Final Destination (2009), and Final Destination 5 (2011), exploring where it fits in timeline-wise and tonally. Fan-favorite death scenes still trending on YouTube include the “Highway Pileup Crash” (FD2), “Gymnast Death” (FD5), “Tanning Bed Scene” (FD3), and “Bridge Collapse” (FD5), and we compare how Bloodlines stacks up. Whether it's escalator terror, eye-surgery nightmares, or loose construction equipment, we analyze the most creative and brutal kills in Bloodlines and how it honors the legacy of Tony Todd’s iconic Death character. Like, comment with your favorite kill from the franchise, and subscribe for more horror reactions, breakdowns, and freak-outs!

48:14 fun fact. Tony Todd created his ending words. He was speaking not only to the characters but to us. It was his final goodbye.

One of the biggest differences between what happened to Kimberley and Stefani is that Stef drowned into unconsciousness and was brought back by CPR. Kimberley’s heart actually stopped and required a defibrillator to kickstart it.

11:11 Fun fact, the female stunt actor who did this fire stunt is a retired stunt actor who came out of retirement to do this stunt. That's hardcore 🙀

The piano hit A minor 🤭

Eric was never meant to die because he ain’t in the bloodline. But because he kept verbally and (maybe physically) taunting Death, as well as trying to save Bobby from dying, it said fuck it and killed his ass.

The director and Tony Todd knew he was dying so when his scene came up the director gave him some lines to say and then he told Todd to say whatever he wanted, to the fans. It makes his final words in the movie very special.

I won't lie, I got a little choked up during Tony Todd's little speech. RIP to an absolute legend. 💜

I saw this movie in a packed IMAX theater, and the whole audience burst into laughter and applause when the kid got crushed by the piano. It was such a wild and glorious moment, absolutely unforgettable! 😂😂

in my mind Kimberly survived because her heart did actually stop and she was defibrillated and given chest compressions whereas the girl in this movie just woke up and coughed up water so I think if her heart had stopped before waking up then they would have survived because she would have "died" like Kimberly did. At least in my mind I think that makes sense

The tower scene might be one of the best sequences in the franchise.

This film was such a beautiful send off to Tony Todd and his iconic legacy and the strong impact he had on people. His goodbye speech nearly made me cry, it was so sweet and beautiful. We should never take life for granted and appreciate life because it’s so precious. May he Rest In Peace❤ he will forever be loved and missed.

Tony Todd's scene made me cry. The directors let him basically say his last goodbye. The man had an amazing career, and life.... he earned it.

The MRI machine is one of the best death sequences in this movie and shit I might even say it’s my favorite of the series. The brutality of it especially for someone that’s not on death’s list is crazy.

@nicktechnubyte1184 1 year ago

This is definitely one of the best of the franchise

And a fantastic send-off for Tony Todd, may he rest in peace

I love that we don't know Jerry Fenbarry, and we never get to know him, but the characters know him, and their reaction to that revelation is what makes the joke 😂

@velky_reeds 1 year ago

Teo Briones is indeed in Chucky, and yes, Devon Sawa played as his father, which means that the casting came in full circle from younger generation to the old generation

@diegoluna2549 1 year ago

The fact that before Tony Todd knew he had cancer in real life and gave him a vital role, his character, both inside and out, is the powerful, magnificent performance that highlights the beauty of life in his improvised scene that Tony gave, is genuinely pure and we will always remember it as William and his life.😌 LOVE BLOODLINES💀❣
saludos Greg y Roxy❤👍👍

1:02:31. I think it worked for Kimberly because she actually died. She went to the hospital and they used the defibrillator to bring her back from the dead. But in this one, the brother was able to do chest compressions (which I think means her heart didn’t actually stopped) like the doctor explained.
