Following on from my previous "Spiritual Trip," the second half of my trip was all about eating my way through Taipei's delicious cuisine!
I started with my favorite scallion pancakes (蔥抓餅), then visited a famous restaurant I'd been wanting to try, where I encountered a braised pork rice dish that I'd described as "the best I've ever had." I also enjoyed a stroll through the lively Shilin Night Market, sampling grilled king oyster mushrooms and fried sweets – I truly ate until I was full!

The next day, I conquered every tempting food I could find, from classic Taiwanese breakfast (鹹豆漿) and exquisite truffle-filled xiaolongbao to fluffy mango shaved ice and fragrant peanut mochi!

In between, I relaxed with a foot reflexology massage and enjoyed shopping at a retro Chinese herbal medicine pharmacy – the second half of my 2-night, 3-day trip was packed with the charm of Taipei! ✨
