I heard my 9 year old daughter singing this song and it brought tears to my eyes. This song hits my soul and this is how I been feeling since I had her. Her dad left when she was 2 and I do everything in my power, to make sure she is good. I am single mom graduated college and I am continuing my education. She sees everything I am doing for her and I know one day she will be very successful.
I’ve heard people say that Wonder Woman is only powerful because of her blood. Yes, Her superhuman abilities are due to her genetics, but what those people fail to realize is that the sum of a person’s strength isn’t only in their physical ability but in there character. She didn’t have to train as a child, her mother would’ve preferred she didn’t. Yet, she made the choice to be a warrior rather than just a princess. She chose to spend her childhood and young adult life training and growing her skill. She didn’t have to save Steve Trevor’s life. She didn’t have to leave the island to fight mankind’s war. She didn’t have to spare the life of the wretch Dr.Poison, she could’ve crushed her and would’ve been justified in doing so.
The choices she made reflect her strength of will and character, not because humanity deserves it but because she believes in a better way, in love, and in humanity. Despite all evidence that she has witnessed that supports what Aries claims humanity to be, she chooses to see the good and potential in humanity over the bad. It is the choices we make that reflect who we are as people rather than the physical abilities we are born with. Even if she hadn’t been a demigod, she didn’t even know that when she started training or left to fight in the war, all she knew was what she believed, and she believed doing what the Amazons were meant to do, protect humanity. When you ignore all of this you undervalue the most important traits that separate the strong from the weak: your will and your character.
My father loved this song and video before he passed away. Thanks for making something so amazing. Listening to it to remember him on fathers day. I love you dad.
Linda was so pleased with Gal for her performance as Diana Prince, Gal took on the role and made it hers, only 2 women could play the part so perfectly. Linda and Gal!! No other!!
