**Boruto Uzumaki might eventually need a completely new solution to his Momoshiki problem, especially if he realizes Kashin Koji has seen a future where Momoshiki successfully takes control of his body.
Boruto currently has an agreement with Kawaki to kill him if Momoshiki becomes a threat again, but there is one massive problem with that plan. Boruto and Momoshiki currently exist in completely uncharted territory. Momoshiki sacrificed the remaining Karma data needed for his resurrection to repair Boruto's body, leaving his soul attached to Boruto despite being unable to resurrect normally.
That means Boruto cannot guarantee his death permanently eliminates Momoshiki.
This is where Boruto's Uzumaki heritage could finally become important.
The Uzumaki clan possessed some of the most powerful sealing techniques in Naruto, including techniques capable of restraining tailed beasts and interacting directly with souls. The Reaper Death Seal itself would not solve Boruto's problem, but its existence proves how advanced Uzumaki sealing techniques became.
What if Boruto doesn't need an existing sealing jutsu?
What if he creates his own?
Boruto has already demonstrated the intelligence necessary to understand complicated techniques and find shortcuts nobody else considered. After learning Flying Raijin, exploring the sealing techniques associated with his Uzumaki heritage could be the next logical evolution of his abilities.
It would also give Boruto Two Blue Vortex an opportunity to finally expand upon one of Naruto's most underexplored clans.
Minato combined his genius with Uzumaki sealing knowledge to create the incredibly complicated seal placed on Naruto. Boruto could potentially do something similar by combining Uzumaki sealing principles, his understanding of Karma, and knowledge obtained from Momoshiki himself.
Boruto inherited Minato's genius.
Now it might be time to explore what he inherited from the Uzumaki.**
