You missed the iconic 'It's not illegal' bit with the thermometer!

The bit that really got me was "I just went there to study anatomy" followed by the immediate cut to her having gay sex in Paris. I saw it coming but the payoff is PRICELESS.

Suranne Jones makes some of the best facial expressions on this show. That plus her deadpan, no-nonsense delivery of some of her lines sometimes has me in stitches. 😅

The scene where Marian is telling Ann Walker's aunt that Anne L. likes the company of older women because are more interesting (to flatter the aunt) but then fumbles with saying "Of course Anne enjoys the company of younger women, too, obviously.". That was hysterical.

I absolutely adore this show and Suranne, Sally, and everyone and everything involved with this series.

Another funny scene: when Anne L is talking to the nasty Rawson brother about how his mother likes her, and AL says "She likes me. She always has." and  lifts her eyebrows suggestively - SO funny.

The Lister sisters are fantastic in any scene together . Gemma Whelan doesn't even need to speak.

Just found this and am bingeing through! Such a shame it was cancelled halfway through.

The "flashback" scene of Anne in a lodging house with soliders until 3 in the morning.

"Good lord. That was a while since."

I’m pissed off they stopped the series. They left us hanging at episode eight.
