This is the kinda shit you can tell your grandchildren about.

13:15 The crowd when mango wins

16:51 The crowd when Armada wins

lmao

Armada is a boss for not letting the crowd get to him, THIS crowd.

"Mango's definitely Rocky, Armada is Drago" -- isn't Armada the one who has to fight in a foreign land against the crowd too?

Genesis grand finals, Armada vs. Mango, HMW and Phil commentating - have I gone back in time?

Just reading the title of this video is amazing

I love how Johnny don't give a fuck 13:16

Back in the days of the 5 gods, I remember people used to say we needed a player with Mango's reads and creativity, Armada's consistency and punish game, Hungrybox's spacing and mastery of his own character, Mew2king's edge game and ability to 0 to death off of one mistake and PP's pressure and mental game, and I think we have a player like that now.

His name is Armada.

I miss aramada being the final boss in tourneys. Man

This whole tourney was electric.

Really great, best Melee tourney in years.

30:37 the 3 greatest players of all time

The GOAT: G1, P4, EVO'13, MLG'14, EVO'14, TBH4
The BOAT: G2, Apex'12, Apex'13, EVO'15, TBH5, G3

6 Premier Majors a piece. 2-2 in GFs. 3-3 in Genesis sets.
What. The. Fuck. You can't make this up.

Genesis 3 will always hold a special place in my heart. Nothing beats the magic of Genesis.

Armada is just so amazing. Watching him play inspires me so much

to me, these 2 were the heart of this game.  It sucks things between them soured after armada retired, but i'll always think of them as the pinnacle of competitive rivalry and respect in this game

FOX DITTO MASTER

I watched this live at my school bathroom during class hours, i remember trying to keep a straight face and not smile from the sheer hype of this match when walking back to class

Mang0 went HAMburgers....

maybe a little too hamburgers

This set is legendary.

I wish I could've been there. What a great set, crowd sounded amazing, all in all seemed like a tourney you just had to be there to experience.
