Something I believe is also worth mentioning is that the toxin in a blue ringed octopus is not only found within its salivary glands, but also throught its body, possibly making the whole animal poisonous as well as its attacks.

While as is Pyke is already a unit, here’s some suggestions to make him even deadlier:

- add the giant pacific octopus to increase the bulk and strength, but mostly for the master mind level smarts

- add the crown of thorns starfish to cover his entire body with venomous spines for extra defense, also for the Deadpool-like regeneration. Even if Vex got a stroke of luck and tore Pyke apart he’d be just fine

- replace the glass squid with the box jellyfish, not only does it also grant a translucent body, but has the venom to kill 60 people, making Pyke literally untouchable (especially when synergized with the spines from the crown of thorns)

Excellent video on the ghostly Pyke (Imperateuthis crystallus), my friend! And yes, this hybrid looks very alien and ghostly.

The one and only video we have posted so far is a creature of mine, Imperius Abyssus, ruler of the deep and reefs also posted in the bay of bengal and having sperm whale for its brain. I think a showdown between these 2 is due

Vex apparently is resistant to most no all venom

This guy needs some more attention

Dr(?) Dreadmir, I would like to raise some concerns I have with this hybrid of yours.

Firstly, it would incur a vast metabolic cost from production of venom, potentially throughout the whole body instead of just the saliva. This would mean it needs to hunt often, drastically reducing its ability to remain stealthy for long periods of time.

Secondly, this hybrid suffers from potential risk of sensory overload. With chemoreceptors throughout its body and electroreception extending over a hundred meters, it might be unable to process all the sensations it receives, which may stunt its capacity to detect opponents.

Even worse, I do not see a contributor that provides the capacity to resist its own slime. This hybrid has gills, which makes it uniquely vulnerable to hagfish slime clogging its respiratory system. It may resort to scraping off the slime with its tentacles to survive, but the high surface area to volume ratio of this body plan presents the risk of overwhelming this defense or impairing swimming ability.

It may also suffer a more insidious risk - lack of originality. All cephalapod hybrids seem to share a few key contributors like mimic octopus and giant/colossal squid, which could hurt your ability to attract investors.

While I have raised some concerns, Pyke is still an exceptionally well-designed hybrid. It may seem as if it is an amalgam of undesirable traits, but in fact these problems I have raised are the exception rather than the norm. I applaud you and your kin for creating this animal.
