I am with you Meg, I have to compartmentalise everything. I have to have a different planner for work and business and keep my journaling spaces separate. Or maybe that is actually an excuse to buy more planners and journals though?!?

I am also someone who cannot rely too much on my own brain 😂😂 I am Autistic and quite often can't even rely on my own brain to let me do things I have a set day for each week because it sees them as a 'demand' so either freezes before it gets to them or forgets them entirely. but if my Google calendar tells me to do it that's an entirely different story because then it is a rule I have to follow ahah

Meg, I understand wanting to have a separate common place journal from your planner. I am going to do that as well. I bought a MidoriA5 graph paper notebook to try and then I found a different notebook with smooth blank paper ( CD Notebook) that I am going to use instead Daisy, I love the MD notebooks with the cream paper  and I also ove the Leuchtturm journals as well. I am currently in one of their 120 gsm sketchbooks and really enjoy it. I have also have some of their B5 soft covers,,, the paper is pretty hardy too I think. I like the dot grid and plain pages. I am not a fan of lined notebooks myself. I have been in a Sterling Ink Common Planner for the past 3 years and really love them, All the monthlies are in front, then the weeklies are next ( I love the horizontal format, they also offer vertical too) and then it is 368 pages of notebook. Everything is in a 3mm grid format and I love it. The paper is  Tomoe River Sanzen and it is so lovely to write on and has that sweet sweet crinkly sound that is bliss to my ears. I was first in a TN size then moved to a B5 for 2025 and this year. Next year I am going to be in the A5  Common planner, I never thought I would be in an A5 planner girlie but I think working  with my  Leuchtturm  sketchbook I liked it so I am looking forward to giving it a go. I really love your podcast ladies, it is nice to talk about planners, notebooks, stickers and all the other bits and bobs that go along with this.

It’s FOMO with respect to how much content has popped off around luxury planners tbh! That’s it. A lot of content creators overdo it and you can hear it in their hauls… “I just loved the design… don’t know what I’ll use it for…b…bu…but I’ll ofc get them used or sell em probably “ ! INSANE CONSUMERISM HONESTLY… but maybe I’d do same if I had extra money just lying around Lolz I do that with novels anyways

Lovely episode, ladies! I purchased from hobonichi on launch for the first time—liberty weeks for planning and glimmers/gratitude, a cousin for junk journaling, and a few stationery items. I'd to exercise a lot of restraint because I "needed" so many things, lol 😅. I am pleased with my purchases and i am looking forward to see how I get on in 2027 😊

I don't understand the Hobonichi hype tbh..it will not make you more organised as any other planer..if you are you are  and if you aren't planner won't help. I didn't know about the hype and asked in a shop for a hobonichi agenda and the seller was like you all come too late you should have planned better..like what?😅 i just bought another one that was great and I love it, has the same pages as hobonichi
