I'm really glad I found your channel!

I just recently lost my father last year and you remind me so much of him that it brings me to tears every time I'm watching. Not to mention your humor is like his and it cracks me up big time!

I keep thinking he brought me to your videos and he's here watching these with me 🥲.

I'm really thankful for these videos you put up and can't wait to see more! ❤❤❤❤❤

I have a compost tumbler that collects the liquid that drains from the break down of the kitchen scraps. It has about a two gallon capacity. I collect this compost liquid, which is thick and dark like motor oil, and mix it into my 50 gallon rain barrels. This creates about 100 gallons of ready made compost tea, that I can water my trees with watering cans. It seems to work pretty well.

I use the brown water from my koi filter sponges. It works exceptionally well and is free.

You are feeding the soil not the plant. The plant will take what it needs. Appreciate you Peter

12:50 I do have one small exception to this rule on Nitrogen, if your tree is a Nitrogen fixer with the symbiotic bacteria nodules on the roots, chances are you can get away with little or no Nitrogen, but only if you confirm you have an abundance of these nitrogen fixing bacteria nodules on your root system.

Another great natural fertilizer is your pond/ aquarium water.

Useful topic. It is interesting to hear and read about the varied practices for fertilizing. For a number of years my club members in the U.S. Southwest seem to emphasize organics. Right now there is a very popular granular brand sold in 8-pound bags. The formulation I use mostly is 4-1-1, but there are other formulations in the line. It is more pleasant to use than fish emulsion or chicken litter fertilizers, though I have used both often.

I give organic fertilizer made from grapes and homemade compost mixed with rainwater !🤠

I use the water from my filter aquarium sponges. Seems to work well during early spring. Then on particular hot days of summer, i submerge the pots in the garden pond momentarily. Again, it works well for me.

Here in Florida I use Osmocote for Black Pine and it does quite well. I place the beads in baskets though.

I mix my fertilizer. I use cotton seed, bone and blood meal. The mix is in 3 parts. In fall I start again and before they go in winter storage. I live in SW Minnesota
