Amazing Korea Country Cottage House Tour

Hello!
I'm Oh Jin-da, a local who shares the beauty and sincerity of the countryside.

I was excited to start anew after winning a country house at auction,
but this time, I ran into an unexpected obstacle.

I won the bid, but there was still something inside,
so I couldn't even enter and was just stamping my feet.

In the meantime, I finally managed to contact the previous owner.

But what I heard over the phone was shocking:
"You don't own the entire house."

For a moment, my mind went blank.

"What does that mean?" "Then what did I win?"

The legal issues seemed too complicated to handle on my own,
so I quickly called the attorney to ask.

The conclusion was that the previous owner had misunderstood the auction process.
We had indeed won the entire house.

However... there were still occupied items inside the house,
and I had no choice but to wait, holding back my desire to move in.

So, this time, I visited the attorney again for a consultation to resolve the "eviction" issue.

After hearing about the legal procedures and methods one by one,
it was time to negotiate directly with the previous owner.

I called again and proposed the moving costs,
and we also coordinated a moving date.

It seemed like we had reached a certain level of agreement, but...

At the last minute, the previous owner said,
"I'll double-check the amount and contact you tomorrow."

But... will they really contact me tomorrow?

With nothing yet decided, the tense days continued.

This is the second installment of a story about a novice auctioneer's unpredictable journey to settling down in a country home.
